In the history of pirating the big unanswered mystery is what is scarier a midget or a clown? I personally don't like either. Then if you add in the elusive and trecherous midget clown, like in the book/movie IT, you know you are screwed.

I've been away for some time and interested if any other pirates share my view or would sail with a midget, clown or hybrid midget/clown as a crew member?

Depends on what the clown's superpower and/or weapon of choice is when someone tries to board your ship.
*Rubber chicken that does damage via bludgeoning or explosion.
*Noisy crackers that does damage via sound waves, incineration, or explosion.
*Fake flower lapel that shoots water, some toxic substance, or projectile.

Merge Clown with Monkey, arm with bananas--boarding attempt thwarted... slipped on banana peel and off the deck.

Shanghai a clown in port, name him Homey D. Clown. Arm him with a coconut in a sock.

Attempted boarding…. “Homey don’t play that game.” Whack!
