Changing Winds

Instead of just North, South, East, West, what if the winds could randomly include diagonal formats?

For example, the wind could be South-East and could function like a gale wind. Moving south or east would cost zero nav, but north or west would cost two nav.

i suggested last round being able to move diagonly, but never heard anything back, think it would be fund
