Changing Winds

I've been with my fleet for almost 3 full months now and haven't been involved in a single war. My fleetmates are awesome, but without any wars, it feels like a glorified Flotilla. I also have so many war related quest items completed this round that have been collecting dust and extremely unlikely to be used before EOR.

I suggest something to urge fleets to be involved in more wars throughout the round. How about a booty decay? The details can be dictated by Hagar, but it would be something like every day you aren't involved in a war, your fleet loses 25 booty. This way, it would make fleets focus either on different fleet quests instead of just the Spanish or actively try to war with other fleets.

All in good but I was chastised this round for all the warring that was happening. Bottles and post were flying all over the place and I was called all kinds of names because of it. I was informed the other fleet, aka, you're current fleet, wasn't interested in warring anymore.

I joined my current fleet after the last war was already over, so wasn't involved in what happened before that.

As for all the NAYS, I'm not sure why? If you don't want to be forced into war, don't join a fleet. Simple as that. There are also flotillas if you want a place to group up with your pirate friends and don't have to worry about wars.

I just feel it's a bit odd to have a pirate game with warring available, but we can go a full 3 months of a 6 month round with no wars (especially the final 3 months). What are we supposed to do with all of our stats and the special quest items we've secured that are specifically for wars?

Start a fleet, start a war. Problem solved
