Joph [18500] 6 Oct 2016 12:56:32 pm | I work on a boat for a living, and my boat has been without a cook for over a year now, and I can say for sure that the moral is not what it used to be. That got me thinking;
There should be a 'Cook' crew member you could hire that would increase your morale regen (or something)
could maybe be a quest like the navigator.
what do you guys think? | Likes: 0 |
Joph [18500] 8 Oct 2016 1:45:47 pm | Wow, thanks for all the support guys. This means a lot to me. What I did not mention in my little story is that for the better part of 5 years, the cook on my boat was my wife. We spent that time always in each others company. Every minute, of every hour, of every day, we were within 300 feet of each other. After five years we decided that we wanted to start a family, and that would be rather difficult both working offshore, so about 2 years ago she got a land job, and I have been hungry ever sense. She was well known throughout the fleet. People from the office would always come down to the port at lunch, just to have some of whatever she was cooking. Our crew of 15 would often be out numbered with techs, coordinators, and former crew, all looking for an amazing meal. When representatives for a multi billion dollar contract come down, the drove directly to our boat for lunch, she was that impressive. I miss her every day. This boat is not the same without her. | Likes: 0 |

The effect of a crew member increasing morale may decrease sales of rum which mean potentially decreasing revenue that is used to run the servers and whatnot. | Likes: 0 |

Voodoo Child [17528] 16 Jul 2020 4:05:40 pm | In order to maintain rum sales why not let the Cook influence the health of the crew instead of Morale. In wars the better cook you have the less damage to your crew. As we all know the better you eat the healthier you are... | Likes: 0 |
