In order to make this draw as transparent as possible I am making available a spreadsheet with all the entries along with their entry number BEFORE the draw.

Every January Golden Ticket in your inventory at the commencement of the draw will get you a line on the spreadsheet. There is no need to do anything with your tickets. If they are in your inventory, you are in the draw. As the spreadsheet has now been created, no further entries are possible. You can no longer send the tickets to anyone or place them on the market.

You will need a password to view the spreadsheet. This password will be made available AFTER the draw so you can independently verify the winners.

I will leave this thread open with a request that people reply with ONE random number between

1 and 7770

in each of your posts. Post as many times as you want as long as you are not posting twice in a row.

The last 4 numbers posted will be the winners and I will release the password for the verification file.

This file is encrypted and requires a compatible program to decrypt it. Two such programs are 7zip (http://www.7-zip.org/) and WinRar (http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm)

How does this work?

1. The names of all pirates holding golden tickets are put in a spreadsheet.

2. If you have 30 tickets your name in on the sheet 30 times.

3. Each time your name is on the spreadsheet it is assigned a number. 30 tickets could be numbers 1-30.

4. Hagar tells us how many tickets total there are in that particular months drawing. This time it is 7770

5. You post any number from 1 to 7770 to determine who wins.

6. This thread is shut down at a random time and the last numbers of tickets are the winning numbers.

7. Hagar consults the spreadsheet to see whose name is beside each of the last numbers posted.

8. Those people are the lucky winners.
