Peggy injured her shoulder at work weeks ago and had surgery today to repair the tear. Surgery went well but she is struggling in recovery with her breathing and has asthma. They were hoping with the nerve block wearing off it would get better but it hasn't. She is being admitted into the hospital. Due to Covid David is unable to be with her. Not sure if she will have access to walk my plank. Get well soon Peggy and we're thinking of you.

If she is at Methodist, they will allow one person to visit in the room. That is unless something changed in the last two weeks.

She's at Memorial Hermann Orthopedic & Spine.

Update from David.

She can't talk full sentences because she can't catch her breath. They have her on 2 liter of O2 and a heart monitor. If they take her off O2 her levels drop in the 80's. She can't walk because she can't breath.


Not sure if the mask order has changed things. but David isn't able to be with her.

Peggy update from David.
Just got off the phone with her. One of her 3 doctors was in. They had done xrays and said her left lung is clear but the bottom half of her right lung has a bunch of 'junk' in it. They're pretty sure it's from the nerve block (there was a 1% chance of it happening). Pretty sure she won't be coming home tomorrow and maybe not even until Monday

I finally got to come home.. Last night was horrible with pain

I am finally seeing a light at the end of the pain tunnel! I have stop taking both pain killers. down to 1 and only taking it 5-6 hours apart.

found out I had 2 torn tendons (one in front & one in the back of my shoulder) plus I tore my bicep muscle!
